BE Welcomes New Talent!
This month we’ve welcomed two new members to our growing family at BE.
Michael Parkins has joined us as an energy assessor, and has already been immersed (or is that dunked) into our residential projects working alongside our senior consultants. Michael is currently working through an OCDEA traineeship covering domestic Part L compliance and energy strategy work. He has a keen interest in building physics and Passiv schemes in particular.
Michael brings with him some fantastic experience. With an engineering degree and a Masters in Marketing and Management, Michael has worked in the automotive industry (Bentley, Volkswagen) and then gone on to teach English and Physics in a variety of languages and places. Being raised in France from an early age Michael is bilingual English/French with intermediate level Spanish and German.
When Michael has not got his head stuck into a SAP manual, he enjoys riding big motorbikes, amateur dramatics and is taking a keen interest in his parents Hans Haus new build!
Welcome to the team Michael!
We are also extending our warmest welcome to Sarah Mitchell, who joined BE this month. Sarah has spent the last 10 years with IBM, working in a variety of client management roles working with organisations across the energy, automotive and banking sectors. Luckily for us, IBM have agreed to give Sarah a one year sabbatical to put her skills to work for us at BE, whilst she gains a valuable insight into the small business environment. Win win!
Sarah will be helping to further strengthen our engagement and relationships with our wonderful existing clients, whilst spreading the word about BE to those who (believe it or not) may not have heard of us, yet!
Like the rest of us, Sarah is especially passionate about improving our level of service even further and providing more of what you want. If there is something we should be doing which we don’t right now, or if you think we could improve things in any way, please drop an email to Sarah@buildenergy.co.uk. As well as being the long suffering ‘bosses wife’, Sarah is a busy mum of 3 and in her brief moments of spare time enjoys keeping fit with long runs by the sea. Sarah is often seen rehydrating with large goblets of white wine in her favourite beachside cafe.
Welcome to the team Sarah!
