We are delighted to have assisted national award-winning Main Contractor  GMI Construction Group with the completion testing of the new £3.2m Jobcentre Plus offices in South Shields.

The building is now fully operational and saw the current branch in Barrington Street moved to the new purpose-built facility on Mile End Road.

The 12,000 sq ft project targeted a BREEAM Very Good rating and is part of a wider repurposing of South Shields town centre. GMI was awarded the contract by long time client and urban regeneration specialist Muse Developments.
