BE are delighted to be working with Studio Mackereth on this mixed use development incorporating the Old Postmen’s Sorting Office in Kentish Town.
The proposals have recently received approval from the Local Borough of Camden and are the product of detailed discussions between the architects and Local Authority. The challenge was to ensure a design approach for the apartments, which is suitably contemporary in its architectural style whilst being sensitive to the adjacent listed building.
The potential of this backland site has been unlocked with a careful refurbishment of a fondly regarded local landmark to provide new-build residential apartments to the rear.
