In these times of ever evolving regulation and policy, design and construction professionals are under constant pressure to maintain their learning.

We can provide training sessions to your teams to support your commitment to learning and development. Below are some examples of sessions currently on offer:

Thermal Bridge CalculationsThe New Building Regulations June 2022 – Energy Assessments, Part L and Part O.

Designing in London – Rules for Low Carbon & Sustainability

Duration: 1 hour – including time for questions and discussion.

Location: We are happy to host you remotely over Teams, Zoom, or your platform of choice.

Learning objectives: The Greater London Authority has the most ambitious programme for low and zero carbon construction in the UK. ‘Designing in London’ is intended for architects, engineers, contractors and developers who face the challenges of building low carbon, sustainable developments and adhering to the latest London Plan requirements. In particular the Zero Carbon Homes policy requires significant design consideration to be made at RIBA stages 1-3 and a commitment to pay carbon offset fees across many sites. Let us help to shine a light on the process.

This session will help to clarify the rules, provide guidance to design teams and assist clients in delivering successful London applications. We’ll also look at the new requirements for whole life carbon, overheating strategies, new ‘Be Seen’ energy monitoring polices and how these could help to close the performance gap.

"We have been working with BE on numerous projects, as they provide us with a great level of service. The solutions provided as part of the planning and building regs process are always cost efficient and realistic which benefits our clients. When it comes to the construction phase, the site assistance provided by BE in relation to the air and sound testing is always well received from our appointed contractors."
