A Noise Impact Survey is often required during the planning application process.

Planners will be especially concerned with developments placed close to roads, railway lines, airports or heavy industry for instance. We can help to deal with potential noise and vibration concerns at pre planning stages by carrying out a noise impact assessment.

GF Tomlinson recently Appointed Build Energy as our BREEAM, SBEM and Air Permeability Consultants, for our now successfully completed ‘Barwell Medical Centre’ scheme. As part of this Appointment, Build Energy provided an approachable, user-friendly service, split across several disciplines, aiding the GFT project team in satisfying our various Contract obligations. Their duties extended to provision of acoustic, air permeability and thermographic testing, including relevant desktop and site-based advice/ consultancy services, all of which were carried out promptly, to GFTs satisfaction and in line with our agreed original scope. GFT look forward to working with Build Energy again soon and further building upon our ongoing and successful working relationship, which now spans across several schemes.
