We are very proud to say that Build Energy has gained Constructionline Gold status, as well as Acclaim SSIP accreditation.
In recent months we’ve been working hard to provide an increased level of scrutiny to our construction buyers.
Constructionline Gold
The Constructionline Gold mark provides assurance to procurement teams and demonstrates that an organisation has entered into enhanced validation checks and prequalification questionnaires.
Credentials for environmental management, quality management, equal opportunities, modern slavery act adherence and anti-bribery and corruption policies are scrutinised as part of the scheme.
Some of these policies form part of the Cabinet Office Selection Questionnaire (SQ) which the public sector is expected to comply with.
SSIP and Acclaim
As well as enhanced prequalification, all Gold members are assessed for SSIP (Safety Schemes for Procurement).
SSIP was developed as an umbrella body to give confidence to buyers that their suppliers have been assessed to the Con
struction Design and Management Regulations 2015 as well as the SSIP core criteria.
BE holds ‘Deemed to Satisfy’ SSIP certificates for health and safety – something that all major construction buyers look for in supplier selection.
