Our Charities

We are committed to doing all we can to support two charities in particular.

Julias HouseJulia’s House is Dorset’s only hospice dedicated to children with life-limiting conditions.

The majority of the children they care for are unlikely to live beyond the age of 18, and they deliver life changing support and respite care for the children and their families.

Incredibly, this crucial service receives only 10% of its funding from government and so relies heavily on fundraising and the local community.

The continued support from our clients has enabled us to make regular donations and provide tickets to events. We are also proud to be part of the team bringing the new Wiltshire hospice to life.

GD We're supporting logoThe Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is very dear to our hearts.

The organisation provides mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted adults and children. Every hour of every day another person loses their sight in the UK – Guide Dogs is there to ensure they don’t lose their freedom and independence too.

It costs £50,000 to breed, train and care for a guide dog throughout it’s working life. The service receives no government funding and relies on the generosity of supporters to change thousands of lives every year.

Some of you may know that we’ve been raising money for Guide Dogs over the last few years, and more specifically through our ‘Name a Puppy’ fund.

Last year we hit our target of £5,000 thanks to our generous friends, family, clients and colleagues. This allowed us to name a new puppy (Suzie!) and fund her early development and training.

We recently got to meet Suzie for the first time. Next year she will finish her early training and be matched with her new owner. She will truly change someone’s life.

"THANK YOU and everyone at Build Energy so much for all the work you have undertaken free of charge to help make the Devizes build possible, that is so generous of you.....it is a real achievement, firstly in just managing to finish all the work in time for the official opening deadline but also in what has been created there.....we simply couldn’t have achieved all we have without the support of businesses like yours."
